TIS ensures all our site teams are qualified to the highest industry standards. Our site operatives and are qualified / certified CCNSG and/or CSCS/EMSS cardholders.
All Working at Height work is conducted by highly experienced IRATA (Industrial Rope Access Association) & IPAF (International Powered Access Federation) trained personnel. We stringently follow guidelines and regulations set out by IRATA and work in accordance with BS7985;2002.
Each contract we work on is individually appraised and evaluated for health and safety requirements before any work is commenced. All of our contracts are subject to internal safety assessments and audits.
Before commencing work on a contract, we will provide the following documentation which is compiled by our experienced management team:
- Risk Assessment
- Method Statement
- Tool Box Talk
- Rescue Plan
Before every task, we deliver a Tool Box Talk which includes full engagement across the work party. If a member of the work party is not happy or instructions are not clear, then work will not commence and their concerns will be raised to management immediately. The Tool Box Talk includes a briefing on the method of work, associated risks, rescue plan and their role. The IRATA Qualified Level 3 Supervisor produces a thoroughly assessed rescue plan for each task.
